We had an amazing Christmas getaway in the mountains. The lodge was cozy and clean, and the rooms had a charming, rustic feel. We loved the little balcony off our room where we could sit and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful scenery. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and prepared with great care. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to attractions like Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods. Plus, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in Manitou Springs.
Honestly, we couldn't find any negative aspects during our stay. Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations.

Incredible Colorado Escape
I couldn't have asked for a better getaway than my recent stay at a charming lodge nestled in the heart of Colorado. The location was perfect, with convenient access to attractions like Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, and Garden of the Gods. The cozy lodge had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the ideal place for a romantic retreat. The innkeepers, Debbie and Brian, went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. From the comfortable and clean rooms to the delicious 3-course breakfast, they truly made me feel at home. And let's not forget the private hot tub - soaking in it while admiring the beautiful mountains was pure bliss. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, like the lack of AC in some rooms and the small bathroom, these were overshadowed by the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Colorado.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a cozy fireplace which we enjoyed during our romantic escape. The location was perfect as it allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions and restaurants. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast.
The room was not very clean. There were dusty surfaces and the bathroom had hair from previous guests.

The free breakfasts were great and the location was convenient for skiing and snowboarding. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the free shuttle to the nearby ski resort. The fireplace in our room was a nice touch and kept us warm during the cold winter nights.
The room was not as clean as we expected and there were stains on the sheets and towels. The hot tub was also not very clean and we did not feel comfortable using it.
